Experience
Experience, in the sense of a being's experience of some entity, is a complex, interrelated, overlapping event comprising perceptions, feelings and memories.
While the experience itself is an event that happened, one's memory of this event, their knowledge and understanding of it, are also termed experience in the sense that one acquires an experience of something by experiencing it.
We can also conceive of a being's experience in a total sense, as the sum of all such experiences and how one relates to it in total and to large parts of it. As such, to experience is a largely recursive phenomenon: experiences themselves can be perceived (as thoughts and memories), acted upon (as motivation for further actions), understood (by introspection) and so on as any other knowledge.
Though interesting for analytical purposes, it should not be assumed that we can simply enumerate with words what the mind's experience is.
