Patriarchy

Patriarchy is a power system administered by men that centers the notion of gender as its chief organizing symbol and places women and any other gender in an inferior position.

Patriarchies are known to historically coalesce with an economical power system, in which case most men take a mesodominant position in relation to the men holding actual economic power.
