Interface

An interface is an entity that acts as a point of contact for other entities to interact. Interfaces are crucial elements of systems and can be contrasted with intrafaces.

In the context of supersystems, an interface is an interaction between two different systems, or between two entities belonging to different systems that otherwise would not be able to interact were it not for the interface.
