Egoism

Egoism is having one's own interests as their main motivation.

Stances that differ from egoism include following the praxis of a given paradigm or attempting to obey or please someone else.

While the actions of the egoist may or may not benefit others, their stance carries very little meaning and as such can be unpredictable or even presumed hostile.
